Ayodhya: The holy metropolis of Ayodhya, which is Lord Ram’s birthplace, will survey a celebrity-studded Ramlila celebration this 365 days. In step with the organisers, the Ramlila can be enacted on the ancient Laxman Qila on the banks of the Saryu River in Ayodhya at some level of Dussehra.
Though preparations are underway and the lead actors had been contacted, the event might well be field to the incontrovertible fact that the Covid-19 pandemic subsides by then and the Uttar Pradesh authorities gives its consent.
“The dispute authorities`s nod is awaited, but we now wish to commence up rehearsals rapidly. We hope Covid wave ebbs out by Dussehra,” talked about Subhash Alik, founder of Meri Maa Foundation and organiser of the event.
‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ fame Bollywood actress Bhagyashree, who made her debut with Salman Khan in, who made her debut with Salman Khan in 1989, will play the role of Sita at some level of the Ramlila.
The star cast also involves Arbaaz Khan, Raza Murad, Shakti Kapoor, Asrani, Avatar Gill, Vindu Dara Singh and other main cine personalities.
Dussehra celebrations had been held below the pandemic cloud last 365 days and the dispute authorities allowed the live telecast of Ramlila on Doordarshan and other social media platforms while banning the audience on the venue.
“If all goes well, Ram Lila can be organized between October 6-15. This time, Sita`s role can be conducted by Bhagyashree. Actor Shakti Kapoor will play the role of Ahiravana, Raza Murad will accomplish the role of Kumbhakarana, Vindu Dara Singh will proceed in his role of Lord Hanuman,” Malik talked about.
Infamous personality actor Asrani will essay the role of Narad Muni, Shahbaz Khan will play Ravan, Raj Mathur can be seen in the role of Bharat, Avtar Gill as Vibhishana, Amita Nangia as Kaikeyi and Ritu Shivpuri will play the role of Kaushalya, mother of Lord Ram.
Whereas a total lot of the names had been finalised for the main characters of Ramayan, the organisers are yet to finalise the actor who will accomplish the role of Lord Ram.
